PeopleLooker provides searchable public data in easy-to-read reports. When we say public records, this can include official government records such as mortgage deeds and court records, as well as data from sources like magazine subscriptions, warranty cards and utility bills.
Sometimes the information collected through government agencies and companies contain inaccuracies or are incomplete, or out of date. It is always our aim to provide the most accurate and current information we possibly can. Because we do not create the information, we cannot edit the information to make corrections.
We are constantly updating our database and seeking out new data sources, to improve the data in our reports. Corrections to the data occur through these ongoing updates to our entire database.
So what can you do? First, you can flag the inaccurate or missing information, from within the report. When you are viewing the report, click the flag icon, and then let us know if there is data missing or the data was inaccurate. This is sent to our data team to help us understand where people are seeing problems with the data.
Second, we encourage you to activate the Monitoring feature on the report. You can do this by toggling Monitoring on, at the top of the report. You can also enable Monitoring on a report, from the list of your reports in your Dashboard. Once you have enabled Monitoring on a report, you will be notified whenever we find any new information in the report: a changed address, a new phone number, even a new criminal record.
